Community and connection
How we give back to Minsterley and the surround area
We have worked the words “community and connection” into our logo because they perfectly sum up what’s important to us – building meaningful relationships with our clients and their patients, and taking pride in being the independent vets of Minsterley and the surrounding area.
And those words are far more than a slogan, they’re an ethos that we live by and aspire to.

A key part of this is the work we do in and around Minsterley, doing what we can to make life better for our neighbours.
If you have ideas for how we can continue to connect with our community, please don’t hesitate to pop in for a chat – we’ll even make you a brew!

We collaborate with Shropshire businesses such as Whitley Crest kennels and Cattery and Help at Hand dog behaviour, forming symbiotic relationships to ensure local pets receive the care they deserve.

We give back outside of our industry too, whether that’s making donations to local charities or supporting causes such as funding our local chapel, to our founder, Nat, a proud female business owner, giving talks to our branch of the Women’s Institute.

Even something as simple as having our Christmas team meal at a different local pub or restaurant every year and using local florists for our hanging baskets is our way of spreading the love!

As of 2025 we’ve launched our new initiative, the Malthouse Vets community day, bringing clients, neighbours and business owners together to chat and mingle at our practice – something we hope to replicate for many years to come.
