Our services
We’ve invested a lot to improve our facilities and the services we can offer, developing a comprehensive and modern veterinary practice while retaining the special feel of our Grade II listed building.
Whether it’s routine preventative healthcare, ongoing treatment of chronic conditions or complex procedures, we do what we can to provide your pet with the best care.
Here are some of the services and facilities we offer.

Routine preventative healthcare
We place great importance on preventative healthcare – doing what we can today to make sure your pet is healthy and happy tomorrow. Much of this is included in our Malthouse Wellness Plan, including vaccinations, microchipping and neutering.

Diagnostics
We have advanced blood and urine analysis machines, x-ray and ultrasound all in-house, to help with the diagnosis of issues and ensure a swift turnaround of results. We also have video gastroscopy and a state of the art Imagyst machine which can give a 24 hour turnaround for lumps and growths.

Free health checks for new puppies and kittens
There’s nothing more important than a healthy start in life, which is why we offer a free health check with one of our lovely vets for your new arrivals.

Silver Cat Friendly practice
We have silver accreditation from the International Society of Feline Medicine, recognising the care and attention we offer our feline patients. Our practice has separate cat ward and waiting areas.

Internal medicine
Our owner Dr Natalie Morris-Webb is an Advanced Practitioner in small animal medicine – one of only 245 in the country at the time of writing! This means she has additional knowledge in medicine, improving the level of service we provide in house and the care we offer our patients.

Surgery
We have a custom-built operating theatre, and facilitate complex orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures by travelling surgeons, meaning you and your pet don’t need to travel to an unfamiliar practice to access experts.

Saying goodbye
We know how incredibly hard it is to say goodbye to a beloved pet. While we can't take away that pain, we do what we can to make the process that little bit easier. That includes our beautiful chocolate jar created by our nursing assistant Clare – because no dog should go to heaven without tasting chocolate. It includes our candle display in the waiting area to let other clients know when a euthanasia is occurring. And it includes our custom built euthanasia room, which provides a warmer ambience for these difficult moments.
